Two Training Options for DrupalCamp 2019!

Cornell DrupalCamp is excited to offer two training options this year:

  • Intro to Git and Composer
  • User Experience for Drupal Site Builders

 

Intro to Git and Composer

Presented Michael Anello of DrupalEasy

Thursday September 26, 2019, 8:30am - 4:30pm
Room: 423 in ILR Conference Room
Cost: $60 (light breakfast and lunch included)

Suited to: Developers or Site Builders who need to brush up on their Git or Composer skills, or if you're just starting to build with Drupal 8.  Attendees should have basic command-line navigation skills, and have a laptop with Git and composer installed for this class.

This full-day workshop will introduce students to the basics of using Git and Composer in the context of a Drupal 8 site. This hands-on workshop will expose students to the Git and Composer commands that they will use most often while building and maintaining Drupal 8 sites. Students will be exposed to standard Git workflows and conflict resolution. The workshop will utilize the often-used Drupal Composer/Drupal Project Composer project template (https://github.com/drupal-composer/drupal-project/).

 

 

User Experience for Drupal Site Builders

Suited to:  Those responsible for planning and implementing the content strategy and information architecture for Drupal projects.  Participants need a clean install of Drupal 8: install Acquia Dev Desktop in advance: https://evolvingweb.ca/install-drupal8 or set up a site on Pantheon.io

Whether you're creating a brand new website, migrating to Drupal, or improving on an existing project, you'll learn techniques that will help you build a solid content strategy and a user experience that speaks to your audiences.
