What does it mean to deliver an accessible website using Drupal? In this session, we will introduce you to some of the most important web accessibility rules stated in the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) and show how you can use a combination of Drupal features and editorial guidelines to ensure your site is accessible. Using a new Cornell site built in Drupal as the example, we will demonstrate how the site meets the basic accessibility standards from both a design and a content perspective. If a standard was not met, we will show what is wrong and explain how we plan to remediate the problem. Come and learn from our hits and misses!
