Cornell Drupal Camp


Thank you for your interest in Cornell DrupalCamp! This year our camp has expanded into four events, including two additional training sessions, and a social event! Please see below for more information on each event. 

Drupal Basics with Vanessa Turke: October 6; 8:00am-12:30pm; $35
Drupal Code Sprint: October 6; 12:30pm-5:00pm; $15
DrupalCamp: October 7; 8:00am-4:30pm; $35
After camp Happy Hour @ Bar Argos: October 7; 5:00pm (drinks are your own responsibility) 

Drupal Basics October 6, 8:00am-12:30pm, Room 423 ILR Conference Center

On Thursday October 6,  we will offer “Drupal Basics,” a half-day training by our keynote speaker Vanessa Turke. Drupal Basics is a site planning class, focusing on developing the content structure, user roles and permissions that are part of a strong foundation for a Drupal site. Participants can expect to come away with instructions and tools to create a solid project plan and set of technical requirements.

This training is best for beginners in any track (developing, theming, content management, or project management), and project and content managers at all levels. 

-The fee for this training is $35 and includes light refreshments.
-To sign up for the training, please check the box on our registration form next to “Drupal Basics.”
-Space is limited to 60 people.

Drupal Code Sprint: October 6; 12:30pm-5:00pm, 423 (425 as backup) ILR Conference Center

Also on Thursday, October 6, we are once again offering a half-day Code Sprint from 12:30-5:00pm geared toward developers who wish to gather together to write code. There is an additional $15 charge to join the Code Sprint. Light refreshments will be provided. We’re also looking for facilitators or volunteers to help with the Code Sprint day. Please indicate if you’d like to help out by checking the box on the form.

Cornell DrupalCamp: October 7; 8:00am-4:30pm

DrupalCamp 2016 will open at 8:00am on Cornell's central campus with registration and a light breakfast. Our keynote speaker this year Vanessa Turke, a UX designer and digital strategist. After the keynote, the camp will move to the ILR Conference Center for the rest of the day. One-hour sessions run from 10:00am to 4:30pm. The schedule will be posted in September. 

Cornell DrupalCamp costs $35 and includes:

-Admission to all camp sessions
-Breakfast, Lunch, snacks, and post-camp networking
-Camp badge and ticket for door prizes

New this year: Happy Hour at Bar Argos

Feel free to join us at Bar Argos for DrupalCamp Happy Hour on October 7 at 5:00pm. Please note that the cost of drinks is your own responsibility, and that Bar Argos does not serve food. Bar Argos is located at 408 East State Street, Ithaca, in the beautiful Argos Inn.
